Territorial perspectives of digital transition in European regions
The European research project “Territorial perspectives of digital transition in European regions” aims to provide new evidence on the development and territorial distribution of digital divides. It shall comprehend drivers behind and provide territorial typologies on how to cluster European regions in terms of digitalisation. In addition, it shall analyse the available data at the relevant territorial scales (at least NUTS 3 and lower) to provide an overview of digital transition trends in different types of territories. Further, this European research project shall address socioeconomic impact of digital transition and provide policy recommendations. The main target groups are national and regional/local level administrations which will be working on digital transition roadmaps in order to achieve targets of the Europe’s Digital Decade. The proposed implementation period is 18 months (contract signature until the submission of the Final delivery) with a planned launch of the procurem
