Dublin City Council intends to directly award a contract for ongoing support and maintenance of the existing Planning Management System (APAS) with Service Level Agreement which includes an option for further developments under contract from January 2025 to December 2027. IEG4/Agile are the providers of APAS, the Planning Management System, used across Dublin City Council. APAS is a modern Planning Application processing system that provides the necessary functionality to produce all documentation associated with processing planning applications from lodgement to decision. There are modules for each of the Planning processes: • Planning Applications • Planning Enforcement • Building Control • Financial Contributions • Citizen Portal web site for Planning Observations Online Planning Applications and Objections can be submitted on-line via the Local Government Management Agency portal and integrated into the APAS application. Dublin City Council requires support for the existing locally hosted system used by the Dublin City Council Planning Department. As IEG4/Agile have developed the application and own the intellectual property rights they are the only company that have the technical knowledge and skills to provide support for an essential service.
