The Supplier shall feel free to come up with suggestions and alternatives, but Femern A/S has the final word in any discussion. This will be controlled by the documented work procedures. The required services as External concrete Laboratory comprise of the following 9 tasks: 1. Testing during the construction phase of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link: Perform testing of concrete during the construction phase when so required by Femern A/S 2. Construction monitoring on site as a support to Femern’s Construction management team, comprising reviews of Contractor’s plans, spot checks on site, audit participation and par- ticipation in site progress meetings. 3. Production of background reports on concrete and associated products for advanced civil engineering projects in the fields of durability, material and execution subjects, including monitoring technology. 4. Production of formwork including reinforcement and instrumentation for concrete blocks to be exposed at the Fehmarnbelt exposure site 5. Casting of blocks for the Fehmarnbelt exposure site 6. Supervision of casting of blocks done by Contractors for the Fehmarnbelt exposure site 7. Placing of these blocks at the Fehmarnbelt exposure site (made available by Femern A/S.) 8. Detailed design and execution of a Test programme for the blocks. 9. Detailed design and execution of a Monitoring programme for the blocks Furthermore, it is required that the supplier shall implement a planned and systematic quality assurance of their services.

5.1.12 Terms of procurement

Information about review deadlines : Pursuant to the Danish Act on the Complaints Board for Public Procurement, etc. (lov om Klagenævnet for Udbud m. v.) (the Act is available (in Danish) at www.retsinformation.dk) , the following deadlines apply to the lodging of complaints: Complaints for not having been selected must be submitted to the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement before the expiry of 20 calendar days, see section 7(1) of the Act, from the day after submission of notification to the candidates concerned of the identity of the successful tenderer where the notification is accompanied by an explanation of the grounds for the decision in accordance with section 2(1), para (1) of the Act and section 171(2) of the Danish Public Procurement Act. In other situations, complaints of award procedures, see section 7(2) of the Act, must be lodged with the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement before the expiry of: 1) 45 calendar days after the contracting entity has published a notice in the Official Journal of the European Union that the contracting entity has entered into a contract.
