Other justification : The direct electron detector must: 1) be compatible with current infrastructure hardware (200kV Glacios cryo electron microscope). 2) be embedded into the current software infrastructure. 3) allow reliable sub- pixel-accurate electron counting. 4) have an internal frame rate of at least 320 fps. 5) allow electron event representation (EER). 6) allow for super resolution without the need for data fractionation. 7) Enable DQE at >0.9 at low frequency and 0.33 at higher spatial frequency. The combination of these requirements described above are fulfilled exclusively by FEI Europe BV filial Sverige (Thermo Fisher) 516403-3432.
