Title : Contracts for environmental monitoring 2026-2030
Description : The Norwegian Environment Agency coordinates the national environmental monitoring, on behalf of the Ministry of Climate and Environment. It includes measurements in nature and examines environmental problems such as climate changes, pollution and the loss of biological diversity. The environmental monitoring service includes onshore, sea and freshwater ecosystems and includes more than 6,000 measuring stations on the mainland and Svalbard. The environmental monitoring is currently being carried out by institutes, universities and consultants on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency. In 2025 and 2026 the Norwegian Environment Agency shall procure basic monitoring for the coming 5 year period. The basic monitoring provides data on the general condition of the Norwegian environment. This monitoring includes both reference stations in unaffected areas and trend stations where environmental problems are measured over time. The basic monitoring amounted to NOK 130 million per annum. The procurements will include environmental requirements. The Norwegian Environment Agency now invites tenderers to a written market dialogue regarding environmental requirements in the pending procurements of environmental monitoring. Attached there are questions that we ask interested tenderers to answer. Replies can either be filled in to the document or submitted in a separate reply document. The feedback from the tenderers will be included in the assessment of whether we will include climate and the environment as the minimum requirement or as an award criteria. Deadline: Tuesday 4 February, 12:00. To be sent by sending e-mail to: anne.marit.ringvold@miljodir.no
