Workforce planning and Competence Solution
The Norwegian Police Shared Services ( PFT) issues this RFI on behalf of the Norwegian Police IT-Unit ( PIT).
The current workforce planning solution (TTA) for the police was implemented in all police districts in 2002. Since the implementation of TTA further development has been carried out in line with the maturity of new technologies and new interfaces.
New technology, new requirements, and expectations from the police's users requires that the current solution must be replaced with a more modern solution.
A new solution must be able to cover today's functionality as well as integrate with future solutions and services both in and around the police network.
The main goal with the RFI is to obtain enough information about the market situation, including cost elements, to provide the Norwegian Police Directorate (POD) with a recommendation to initiate a procurement for a new workforce planning and competence solution.
