Description : THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT NOTICE. Brand-new retail opportunities opening at Helsinki Airport 2026! Would you like to operate in an international, vibrant and unique travel retail environment? Finavia is looking for retail operators with inspiring concepts to be part of building the future of Helsinki Airport and to create value for our flight passengers. Helsinki Airport offers a front-row-seat in travel retail and presents a great opportunity to reach international clientele for operators, whose concept includes elements such as strong brand philosophy, high service quality, multisensory in-store experience and sustainable retailing. In addition to a vibrant, international hub, Helsinki Airport offers a unique sense of place, where brands – big and small, international and local – have the opportunity to come together and operate successfully. Finavia is looking for brands that by their existence at the airport create even more sense of place. The objective of this RFI is to identify potential retail operators and concepts that align with Finavia's vision of providing a unique and engaging shopping experience for travelers. We are particularly interested in concepts that offer high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and innovative approaches to retail without forgetting sense of place of Helsinki Airport. This RFI is non-binding and aims to gather insights from innovative and interesting retail concepts that could be implemented at the airport. New retail premises shall be built in Helsinki Airport’s Schengen terminal and Finavia is looking for tenants for premises in size between 80-200m2. Preliminary schedule: Premises shall be handed over to tenants in January 2026. Estimated opening date March 2026. Contact us and join the conversation on retail premises • Registration for interest and a short, free-form description or presentation about operator company, brand, brand philosophy, concept and/or operations are to be sent via email with a title: “RFI - Retail premises at Helsinki Airport” to commercial.premises@finavia.fi by 24th of January 2025 at 13:00 (Helsinki time). • Based on the free-form descriptions and presentations, Finavia may contact and invite selected potential operators to join in a live discussion to go over their replies regarding concept and product portfolios. Discussions will be conducted in English or Finnish on-site at Helsinki Airport or by online via Microsoft Teams. Possible discussions will be held on Q1/2025. • Participation to this RFI is non-binding for all parties.
