Title : PS3135F - RFT to Establish a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Executive Search Consultancy Services for the University of Galway
Description : We are seeking to engage the services of Executive Search providers to support us in widening our search for candidates to fill a range of senior executive, and senior academic positions in the University/public sector. Tenderers must demonstrate a verifiable track record of successfully sourcing, engaging and placing executive level candidate’s with a minimum salary value of €100,000. Should a candidate be successful in a recruitment campaign as provided by the Executive Search Services provider subsequently leave the position within twelve months of commencing employment, for any reason other than restructure, redundancy or non-performance related reasons, a suitable replacement candidate must be sourced by the Executive Search Services provider(s) at no additional cost to the Framework Client. Where a candidate has been placed as a result of the Executive Search Services provider(s) once a successful Tenderer has worked with a client, that client is then off limits to the search agency (i.e. cannot approach employees) when carrying out other searches for a minimum of 2 years. Please Note: The Framework Agreement will be established on foot of a competition for an initial contract relating to the role of Vice-President: Research and Innovation, to be appointed for a 4-year period, in the first instance, with the possibility of a second term of a 4-year period. The successful appointee will be an academic of professorial standing in a research-led institute and will be appointed to a permanent Established Professorship role in one of the disciplines within the University, at the end of their term. Further information on the role of Vice-President: Research and Innovation is outlined at Appendix A – Information and Application Booklet (Separate document). Closing dates and the salary scale for the role will be confirmed with the successful tenderer after the formal establishment of the Framework Agreement. While Tender Responses will be evaluated on foot of Tenderers’ abilities to meet the requirements of the initial contract relating to the role of Vice-President: Research and Innovation, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to change the initial contract role to another role of similar seniority and scope, if the role of Vice-President: Research and Innovation as outlined at Appendix A is advertised and/or filled prior the establishment of the Framework, or where the role becomes superfluous for any other reason. The first/ initial contract to be awarded on foot of the Framework will nevertheless be awarded to the top-ranked tenderer, whether same relates to the role outlined at Appendix A, or another role. The initial contract will be awarded to the top ranked successful tenderer shortly after the formal establishment of the Framework Agreement. Further contract(s) on foot of the Framework Agreement will be awarded in line with the provisions of Section 2.1.2 of the RFT.
