Description : This voluntary ex-ante transparency (VEAT) notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin proposes to place a contract with LinkedIn Learning with reference to Article 32(3)b of Directive 2014/24/EU. The contract will ensure continuation of Higher Education Full Campus Licence and support services for LinkedIn Learning, an online learning platform. LinkedIn Learning is the leading provider of on-line training in the higher education sector in Ireland and has been awarded first place for on-line training by APUC, the Scottish Association of Universities’ Procurement Group. LinkedIn Learning provides the access to the first-in-class expert led content from Lynda.com and helps the L&D team and managers to easily curate and recommend relevant content to their learners. LinkedIn Learning is a core component of the Trinity L&D blended learning strategy and is used to supplement learning on professional development programmes. With over 16 000 courses available across a range of topics, it is a valuable resource for self-directed learning, accessible to everyone and is an enabler to achieve the university’s goal of continuous professional development for everyone. The term of the contract will be 12 months.
