Description : The ERC-financed project POLYCHROME will use analytical data together through several portable and easily transportable instruments. In order to execute the project, we need i.a. Hirox 3D optical digital microscope. This instrument is essential in examinations, analysing and characterising physical objects of damaged wood, painting and gilding. Hirox will deliver a high-precision motorised system with 45% mirror inspection, which enables dynamic 360-degree inspection of objects. This makes the machine without touching the fragile object, and Hirox's patented Rotary Head is absolutely necessary for mobile 3D scanning of objects that are too fragile to be able to transport to in-situ laboratories. Since Rotary Head is not available on any other machine and patented by Hirox, a direct procurement is necessary.
