Market survey - P5092 Military field trucks
This is a Request for Information (RFI) on new military vehicles for the Norwegian Armed Forces. The survey is being carried out by the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency Land Systems on behalf of the Norwegian Armed Forces.
The purpose of Project P5092 is to replace the current capacity of Mercedes-Benz (MB240) with a new Light Military Utility Vehicle.
The new vehicles will ensure the ability to move personnel and materiel quickly and safely at all levels of both peace and conflict.
The Norwegian Armed Forces has had Mercedes-Benz in different configurations since the 1980s. The field truck has been in operation in the Norwegian Armed Forces for almost 40 years, and is reaching the end of its lifetime.
The intention of project 5092 - Replacement for Mercedes Benz (MB240), is the procurement of a replacement of the capacity (ability) that is currently seen to by the MB240.
The project will equip the Norwegian Armed Forces with a new Light military Utility Vehicle in order to ensure the ability to quickly and safely move personnel and materiel under all levels of conflicts.
The plan is to make the procurement in accordance with the Act and regulation on public procurement, the Regulation on Defence and Security Procurements part 2.
