Additional information : EIGE’s Gender Statistics Database is unique in its concept. It has an interface offering structured guidance to statistics relevant from a gender equality perspective. It consists of the following eight entry points providing access to several collections of indicators organised according to gender equality relevant topics perspective. Under the Database work, EIGE continues to develop the scope of its statistical activities in response to political priorities and the needs of stakeholders such the evidence support of relevant legal frameworks established within EU Directives. This ensures that the Database remains a key element of EIGE’s work as the EU’s knowledge centre for gender equalityIn case of unavailability or disruptions in the functioning of the electronic means of communication provided in Section 5.1.11 in the last 5 calendar days before the time limit for receipt indicated in Section 5.1.12, the contracting authority reserves the right to extend this time limit and publish the extension at the Internet address provided in Section 5.1.11, without a preceding publication of a corrigendum to this notice. Economic operators interested in this procurement are invited to subscribe to the call for tenders at the address in Section 5.1.11 in order to get notified when new information or documents are published.

It was established in 2003 to monitor the numbers of women and men in key decision making positions in order to provide reliable statistics that can be used to draw comparisons between European countries and analyse the current situation and trends over time. Statistics on women and men in decision-making positions provide a key element to assess the implementation of Area G of the Beijing Platform for Action, ‘Women in Power and Decision-making’ a commitment from the Council of the European Union.
