Description : The service contract will support the continuation of the current Low Carbon and Circular Economy Business Action in Canada. The scope of the project will be similar, a direct award to the current service provider is proposed in accordance with the contract notice provisions published for the ongoing contract, in the case the negotiation is sucessful. The design of the action will include the lessons learnt during the first phase of the contract. Synergies will be promoted with other EU projects in Canada supporting EU-Canada clean tech activities. The Specific Objective of this action are: 1. to establish long-term SMEs and small mid-caps business partnerships in the areas of low carbon and circular economy between the EU and Canada. 2. to positioning the EU in Canada as a leader in providing innovative clean tech solutions and support EU economic diplomacy. The Outputs to be delivered by this action contributing to the corresponding Specific Objectives are: Contributing to Specific Objective number 1: 1.1 - Improved market intelligence by mapping and prioritization of clean tech sectors and needs. 1.2 - Support to European cleantech innovators to access the Canadian market (through support to business matchmaking activities, networking and tailored technical assistance during the whole cycle to facilitate business transactions). 1.3- Economic, climate and environmental impact measured. Contributing to Specific Objective number 2: 2.1- Organisation of clean tech events in Canada. 2.2- Support the participation of the EU in key clean-tech events in Canada.
