Infrastructure Services and Operations
The EIB plans to award a framework agreement to a single successful tenderer for the provision of IT infrastructure services and operations managed services.
EIB Group premises in Luxembourg and external EIB offices outside Luxembourg. Some services can be provided remotely.
With the planned framework agreement the EIB aims to transition from the present IT infrastructure services and operations services staff augmentation model to a managed service model. The future service provider shall proactively and seamlessly manage optimal operation of the IT infrastructure with the highest levels of compliance and effectiveness. In summary, the managed services objectives include, but are not limited to:
— network management: the service provider shall deliver streamlined end-to-end network services, including Infrastructure management, connectivity, monitoring, security, and backup, to ensure a highly efficient and secure network environment;
— unified communications services: the service provider shall provide unified communications services to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organisation through integrated voice, video, messaging, and conferencing solutions;
— database solutions: the service provider shall provide robust database services encompassing administration, maintenance, monitoring, installation, configuration, and leverage automation and cloud technologies for optimized performance;
— IT infrastructure operations services: the service provider shall provide operators and ITIL process management, robust Windows servers, Linux servers, virtualization, backup, monitoring and automation services encompassing administration, maintenance, installation, configuration, and leverage cloud technologies for optimized performance.
