The units Trondheim bydrift(TB) and Trondheim eiendom(TE) provide municipal services in Trondheim Municipality (TK), and are the tow largest actors as regards the equipment in question. The units come under the City Development area, and the departments administer and operate municipal parks, sports centres, and urban recreational grounds, as well as facilitate and contribute to the development of the natural environment and outdoor life in country areas.

This contract is preferably for electric equipment to the degree that the market has sufficient alternatives for the contracting authority's needs.

For needs that cannot be met with electric equipment, or electric equipment does not meet the need, machines and equipment will be procured with a combustion engine.

Standard contract terms for Trondheim Municipality's procurement of goods and contract formular for Trondheim Municipality's procurement of goods for each individual procurement will be used for the procurement of equipment under the contract.

The dynamic purchase system will run for 4 years. The contracting authority can both extend and shorten the duration of the scheme with an announcement, cf. PPR, § 26-5 (3).

Individual tender enquiries can have varying contract durations, which will run from when the individual contract is signed.
