Title : DestinE Service platform Advanced Application Services
Description : Destination Earth is a flagship initiative of the European Commission towards the Green Deal and Digital Strategy. DestinE is coordinated by the European Commission and jointly implemented by three entrusted entities: ESA, ECMWF, and EUMETSAT. ESA is responsible for the development of the DestinE Core Service Platform for providing a large number of users with access to observations, simulations and models, evidence-based policy and decision-making tools, applications and services. On behalf of ESA, Atos will manage this tender to allow an Open Competition (OC) for Advanced Application and Services (AAS) to be selected to operate as part of the DestinE Platform framework. The goal of this OC is to onboard on DestinE Platform a wide variety of AAS across different applicable fields, functionalities, and complexities. Mature Applications and Services that are evaluated very close to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 8 with expectations of achieving this level during the onboarding phase, will be eligible for tendering in this OC. Funding of this OC is planned to cover onboarding and initial operations (for a defined period of time) on the DestinE platform. It will be the object of a contract between Atos and the service provider. By actively contributing to the DestinE ecosystem with innovative solutions and expertise, the Contractor will not only tap into new markets and attract fresh users but also enhance their visibility. Additionally, they will gain access to a wealth of cutting-edge technology and valuable data, enabling to expand and improve products and services.
