Helse Nord RHF is responsible for providing necessary specialist health services to the population in the northern health region, cf. The Specialist Health Services Act § 2-1a. The aim of the procurement is to contribute to ensuring that the population has access to the necessary health care and to provide patients with a provision of treatment within a reasonable time, as well as facilitating breaches of deadlines in the health authorities.
