EIT RawMaterials, one of eight Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC) of EIT, initiated and funded by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), a body of the European Union, is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide. Its vision is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe. Its mission is to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain by driving innovation, education and entrepreneurship. The EIT Raw Materials Academy is the overarching brand for all EIT Raw Materials' education initiatives. The education portfolio, which spans the entire life cycle of the learner, has seen truly outstanding results over the years with initiatives at Masters, PhD, Lifelong Learning (LLL), and customized programme levels. Interested companies are requested to prepare a tender, demonstrating their expertise, innovative approaches, and commitment to delivering a transformative platform solution that will contribute to the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the raw materials industry. Interested companies are encouraged to be creative, think outside the box, and include in the proposal, their own ideas on how to provide a customized and, if necessary further developed, platform that could be a true game-changer in the learning and talent management in the raw materials sector and the entire value chain. This platform will serve as a comprehensive digital ecosystem, encompassing a wide range of existing Academy portfolio initiatives such as Open and Custom Programs, various Learning Solutions including the metaverse, the Raw & Circular Economy Expedition (RACE), HR Solutions, the Open Innovation Challenge for Young Talent (OICEP), Lab2Market, and more. These initiatives are designed to promote lifelong learning, HR innovation, entrepreneurship, societal impact, and sector rebranding. To this end, the platform will utilize a variety of interactive content formats, including multimedia case studies, simulations, video snippets, and hybrid tutored modules, to deliver training that is not only more engaging and effective but also widely accessible. Key to the platform's functionality will be its use of sophisticated AI algorithms to deliver personalized educational experiences, facilitate talent matching, and chart career development paths for users. This approach will be supported by AI-enabled skills assessments, certification services, and an easily navigable marketplace for learning tools and resources, all tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals and organizations alike. The platform is designed with a global audience in mind, ensuring scalability, robustness, and adherence to international standards for data protection and privacy. It will act as a conduit for worldwide knowledge sharing and collaboration within the raw materials sector. The service provider will be responsible for the platform's provision, customissation and, if necessary, further development ensuring content integration, rigorous testing, and iterative refinement in response to user feedback. The services will also include comprehensive training for EIT RawMaterials Academy staff to ensure effective platform management. Following the platform's launch, the service provider will undertake ongoing maintenance responsibilities, including regular data backups, content updates, troubleshooting, and user feedback-driven adjustments. Additionally, continuous data analysis will be conducted to guide the platform's ongoing improvement and ensure it remains at the forefront of educational and technological advancements in the sector.
