Description : This intervention is funded under the Action ‘From productivity to product, linking peers to peers (P2P)’, which contributes to the Team Europe initiative ‘Safe & Sustainable Food Systems (TEI SSFSs)’. The overall objective of the P2P Action is to enhance food and nutrition security, while its specific objectives are to: 1. improve food systems knowledge, regulatory environment and governance; as well as 2. increase inclusive food value chain performance and market opportunities (staple & cash crops, fish). In line with these P2P objectives, the objective of this technical assistance is to achieve sector growth while ensuring effective nutrition-sensitive as well as climate- and ecosystem-smart food systems governance. The assistance will be offered to Government of Liberia institutions with food systems mandates, such as but not limited to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), the Liberia Agriculture Commodity Regulatory Authority (LACRA) and the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) as well as other actors in the sector, such as the private sector operating in the agri-food ecosystem.
