Description : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs rents approx. 100 official residences worldwide. These residences contain representation premises that are furnished for official receptions, diplomatic meetings and other representation purposes. The Ministry equips the representation part of the residences with, among other things, furniture, carpets and lighting articles that shall have contemporary and representative design and design, and reflect Norwegian culture and identity. The Ministry uses its own interior architects who prepare design concepts suitable for each residence, including recommended furniture, carpets and lighting articles and other objects naturally belong in such rooms. The following furniture is used as a collective term for the products in the agreement. In accordance with this Framework Agreement, the Tenderer shall procure the products that the interior architect has in order to organise the total freight of these to the forwarding provider chosen by the Foreign Ministry for further chartering to the foreign station. A framework agreement will be signed for 2 years, with an option for an extension for a further 1+1 year. The procurement ́s value is estimated to NOK 5 million excluding VAT per annum, and the maximum value will be NOK 20 million excluding VAT for a four year period. Emphasis is put on the fact that this is only an estimate. The estimate is based on historical figures and the expected development. The contracting authority has the right, but not an obligation, to award contracts for this framework agreement. The contracting authority will not be bound to procure a specific volume during the framework agreement period. The agreement is not exclusive.
