This project will require a holistic approach to address a challenge that all European countries are facing in the midst of the current energy crisis. The aim of Safe System Implementation programme is to support national road authorities (NRAs) in the implementation of the Safe System approach. This programme needs to be relevant to all NRAs and therefore must consider the current position of each road authority in relation to Safe System adoption and implementation as well as the constraints relevant to each respective country, including but not limited to: cultural, fiscal, geographical and organisational differences.
